ABOUT

My name is Amanda Thomas I started Eye Gardens in 2010 following my Garden Design training. I qualified in Garden Design from Writtle College in Chelmsford. Although I started my career in the corporate world working for KPMG I soon discovered my true passion for gardening after moving out of London and having my own garden. I have completed the RHS level 3 and undertaken short courses in propogation and pruning. I have worked extensively in the horticultural industry having worked as a gardener, in plant nurseries and garden centres.

I project manage the complete garden build from concept to completion. I keep a stock of plants so that I can give clients the plants they want and don't have to rely on availability from nurseries.

I design gardens lead by the client and guided by the essence of the place. Plants are central to all my designs as they bring gardens to life. The design process involves an initial consultation with the client. I then draw up a presentation plan, a planting plan and a plan for the landscaper. I also provide a full quote for all work.
